God wants us to trust him in spite of things or in the face of things. It's like we glorify and worship him in his fullness at that point. We magnify how this God we serve has all-power and knows all.
On the outside looking in, it'll look strange and seem bizarre. But God wants us to serve and obey him despite circumstances. He says, "Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof" (Matthew 6:34).
God has a plan and purpose or significance for whatever obedience he instructs of us. But many times, we try to omit faith and obey God on our terms, but to serve God and to follow (be led) by him, we have to obey God on HIS terms at the appointed time and under the circumstances that HE gives us.
Trust and be led by the Lord... unto the Father.
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
- Hebrews 11:6
He rose for a reason.
