Personal Review

Updated: May 31, 2023

This is a personal Review of Reruns that was written to me. I have noticed that, more specifically, it has been from other young men who I have been receiving positive feedback in regards to the first book that I have written—Reruns.

Elliot,

Good read. I believe this book came into my life at the right time, and it made me to appreciate my parents and upbringing more. From the day we're born we are susceptible to negative influences. Growing up, our parents didn't let us do much. We weren't allowed to spend the night at people's house, have cellphones, see certain movies and TV shows, go to parties etc. We also didn't get every thing we ask for. I thought it was just my parents trying to prevent us from growing up too fast, but there was a purpose behind it. They didn't want us to succumb to negative influences because those influences produce behavior/ demons that are hard to shake as you progress in life. I didn't understand at first, and as a result I was treated differently and we all want to be acknowledged in some shape or form. So, instead of discovering our selves, we end up being in a cast of characters. This book really moved me and I'm looking forward to seeing what you do next. I think you allluded to "Poiema" at the end (Edward told me.)
