Throughout the ages, men have been whimsical in their approached to impose wisdom and instruction unto others. Some wisdom is not from God and some wisdom is.
These films are all parables or allegories. An allegory is a story that is told to tell another or tell a message. Telling stories is an art. People have been utilizing art for years. For years, man has been using their right side of the brain to communicate what their left side of the brain needs to say. People become dull with knowledge, so man becomes innovative. The right side of the brain is creative while the left is logical. Because man becomes dull with knowledge, wisdom teaches to become intelligent about conveying a necessary message. Movies, plays, poetry, and whatsoever the art have all been utilized.
Since ancient Egypt, plays have been used and performed. Now, we have full-blown theatre, known today as cinema. These 90s movies were steered towards my demographics. They are nostalgic to my childhood. These films gave their earnest efforts to trumpet a much-needed message. These men’s endeavors are the same as found in the word of God.
And the disciples came, and said unto him, ‘Why speakest thou unto them in parables?’ He answered and said unto them, ‘Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given. For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath. Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.’ - Matthew 13:10-13
